GaLa Reinforcement ® |
GaLa Reinforcement is a program for advanced analysis and design of reinforced
concrete elements (columns, beams, shear walls) subjected to axial
forces and axial or biaxial (Mx and My) bending moments.
The program calculates the necessary areas of the reinforcing
bars (automatic optimization is available), the R/C cross-sections
strains, stresses, curvatures and stiffnesses (with accounting the
creep and the nonlinear creep), the cracks widths and spaces,
checks the R/C cross-sections reliability, generates interaction
failure surfaces. Elements with complicated shapes can be calculated.
Both Metric and Imperial units are supported. There is no user reported program bugs.

Design Section: The program calculates
the necessary area of reinforcing bars. (Examples 1, 2)
-
Check Section:
The program checks the capacity of R/C cross-sections
with predefined reinforcement.
-
Failure
Surface: The program calculates and draws
interaction failure surfaces of R/C cross-sections with
predefined reinforcement. (examples 3, 4)
Stress-strain: The program calculates the strains
and stresses of R/C cross-sections with predefined reinforcement.
-
1/r - EI: The program calculates the curvatures
and stiffnesses of R/C cross-sections with predefined reinforcement.
1/r
- EI chart: The program calculates and
draws the curvature and stiffness charts of R/C cross-sections
with predefined reinforcement. (Example 5)
-
Crack
widths: The
program calculates the cracks widths and spaces between
the cracks of R/C cross-sections with predefined.
